Continuing to Counteract Can Leave you With Puffy Eyes

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

If you are sick and tired, puffy eyes and all, of hearing on the news all the times we roll over on issues and forget about the impact they can make on society, it’s time to finally do something about it.

Don’t let society and the economy get you down, you can make a difference on issues that are important to you.

Whether you are fired up about discrimination of some form, healthcare, or your private rights as a citizen, you need to make your opinion heard.

I’ve dedicated this website to people who counteract injustices – all forms. Make your voice heard today.

Ok, so here’s a perfect example of how we must counteract discrimination and how it is effecting us and our children every day.

Well, yesterday my daughter came home from dance class and i noticed she looked a little down or upset. She usually comes home and runs into my lap with a big smile. So I asked her what was wrong and she said that her dance teacher yelled at her because she did not have on the children’s dancewear brand that the other girls were wearing. This was just astonishing to me. I couldn’t believe that she would call out a child for not having on a certain brand,

I imagine this was because of the fact that women are constantly evaluating others because of their brands of clothes or lack thereof. My wife had taken her to Target to get a leotard for a reasonable price and the teacher didn’t think that was good enough.

I am surprised that the teacher even noticed it. That shows us that discipline can go a little to far. I mean, her reasons for telling her to get a certain brand was so that they would all look the same.

That’s going to far don’t you think? Have you ever experienced anything like this outrageous with your kids? I bet you have. Especially if you have girls.

Well its time to counteract folks!

Cosmetic Procedures Rise as People Attempt to Counteract Age Discrimination

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

During a sensitive and lowly time in our economy, I’ve been reading many articles that talk about how employers are judging people based on their age. For example, f someone shows up to an interview that has eye wrinkles and puffy eyes and “looks” too old for the job, they don’t end up getting hired because of their assumed age. And this is simply based on their looks and the fact that they may have more facial wrinkles than the average person.

As a result, many men and women are researching cosmetic procedures and deciding to improve their looks so that they look younger; even despite the fact that they don’t have the money to be spending on cosmetic procedures.

I was very surprised when I heard this was happening in the work place and that people have been going to such lengths to improve their chances of getting a job – all due to age discrimination.

Do you know anyone who has went to such lengths?
